Use this form to show your support.

bulletIf you are a same-gender couple/family, your registration says you deserve the right to choose or reject a civil marriage.
bulletIf you are a married (or co-habiting) opposite-gender couple/family, your registration says you feel same-gender couples deserve the same constitutional right that you had--to choose (or reject) civil marriage.
bulletIf you are a widow or widower (same-gender or opposite-gender), you are signing up to “memorialize” your union and to speak out for the rights of other couples to choose civil marriage.
bulletIf you are a single parent, register yourself and your dependents as a family group who want to speak out for civil marriage rights.
bulletIf you are single, register yourself as someone who want to speak out for civil marriage rights.

Simply, we support same gender marriage. It's the right way to go. It harms no one that we can think of. Yet, not allowing marriage harms many, including many we love.

We absolutely support same gender marriage. We know that civil marriage rights will make a difference in our family, with the rights and responsibilities that come with it, especially with raising our son, Hudson, who is now seven years old. We support the efforts of Patty, Sheila, David and Andy, and others who may sign onto the suit. The struggle for equality has been a long one and will continue our efforts to support equality in the long term.

My spouse and I share most things but one of the things we miss is the availabilty of insurance. Angela's job offers it to her but I can not be added. Luckily I have my own but their are many who do not. My disablitly, severe rhuematoid arthritis, presents another problem for us. We can not approach help as a couple. I'm not even sure what benefits or problems that creates because it is not an option for me. On several occasions when I have had minor surgery, non related to my disability, I was asked for information reguarding next of kin. I give them Angela's name and our phone number and she is listed as friend or caregiver even when it is made more than clear she is my partner. I don't know if a legal marriage would hurt or help my situation but aI would really like to have the choice.

We have beem married for 33 years and are old enough to claim the senior citizen's discount at Krogers on Tuesday. We have always been deeply invested in bettering our community through our church and our daughters' schools. One or both of us have put in years and years as teachers of Sunday School and officers in Parents Advisory Councils, Band Boosters, and Athletic Boosters. We see our participation in the work for same-gender marriage as one more effort to make our community a better place for all to live than it was before.

There are a lot of things, as a opposite-gender couple, that my husband and I take for granted. Why should same-gender couples, who have been together 10 times as long as us, have any less rights? I love Patty and Sheila with all my heart. I hope states will start to wise up and see their relationship for what it is; a loving, caring, commited relationship, just like any opposite-gender couple.

Joe and I are a couple of old "breeders" (haha) who have been married for 33 years. We have two grown daughters and three grandchildren. Our best friends are a lesbian couple....whom we have made an integral part of our family. Our grandchildren think they are our family and it is a wonderful thing that they see a warm loving relationship between a same sex couple and they have no bias against it. We believe it will only strengthen their future committments when they have shining examples about what love and caring and total committment are all about....be it opposite sex couples or same sex. It's time for equality for ALL.........and we need to remember the number one golden rule..........Judge not lest ye be judged!"

Doug & I married in the Fall of 2000. I have relatives who are cohabiting in same-gender families. We also are friends with couples of the same gender. It is our belief that they are entitled to the same rights that opposite-gender couples. Please add our voice to the list of those in support of this movement.
